Since the arrival of abstract art the term figurative has been used to refer to any form of modern art that retains strong references to the real world, particularly to the human figure. 

In the first of our themed group exhibitions, i2 Art brings together four artists who each explore the figure in varied ways through the media of paint, graphite and print techniques.  This vibrant show reconnects us to this very exciting subject, one that has fascinated artists throughout the history of humankind and speaks to us deeply about who we are.
